This phase includes a dialogue and an understanding with the client regarding their needs and expectations, as well as the provision of a detailed quote. We are happy to explain the materials and methods we employ, as we know most clients have a genuine and committed interest in their buildings and in doing sympathetic work.
We aim to complete all or most of the works ourselves. If we need to we work with trusted subcontractors, and will keep them on track and accountable throughout. Costs will be closely watched and variations discussed and agreed with the client before they happen - to wherever possible achieve the best quality, value and trust.
The last step in any works. This phase includes cleaning and clearing site and any final inspections/discussions with the client, surveyor or architect. At the very least a written outline of the completed works and materials used will be sent to the client - to better facilitate future works and choices, and become part of the written record/property file, but more formal reports can be provided.
